I just wish that a celebrity could be treated like anyone else. It is not fair that they should live in fear or be provoked by some slimy photog.
How do I get in touch with the author of this blog for an interview?
It is one thing to take pictures of celebrities at public events or on the streets…but to try and follow them to their homes and chase them in their cars is unaccapteable. Celebrities are people too! They should have some privacy in their lives! I hope a law is passed soon against the paparrazzi!
I don’t see that your Anti-Papz website is doing anything to change the stalking laws which would be the only way to protect celebs. All I see you offering are sensational stories like so many other websites.
Add some letters on your site to the govenors and legislatures of California, New York and other states and countries so that celebs can truly be helped. Those of us who really care about celebs need to unite to truly make changes, not just talk about it.
A celebrity is first and foremost just like any other human being on this planet, only difference is they get paid triple the amount a normal person makes in a month. Though I love to see my fav stars in credit mags and on tv dueing interviews, I would rather just watch them in movies then to hear they are being harrassed by paps! Leave all the celebrities alone and get a real job paps!!
I am, or have been, a professional photographer for most of my adult life. This is one aspect of the “the industry” that makes me sick. I taught high school students last year, a photography class, and brought up the subject “Is paparazzi a ‘real’ career?” I told the story about Princess Di – and had students bring in articles about their own feelings about the subject. A few brought in legislative commentary and current reports of actors retaliation. I had the opportunity, if I can even call it that, to take pictures in LA – a resounding “NO” came my response. I would want to compare actors to animals in cages at the zoo – its just wrong. With Stewart’s remarks about being raped, if someone steals something from your home, you are violated because the event happened without your permission – rape victims, sexually assaulted and violated without their permission, paps photographing people without their permission – IT IS WITHOUT PERMISSION. It seems to only get worse as technology seemingly improves with speed and clarity. Yes, celebs, fight back…this needs to change.
We have a simple, clever means of enabling celebrities to be free of the paparazzi. Perhaps you could contact.
I’m sickened by the paparazzi. Who do they think they are to invade peoples private lives and hound them relentlessly?
I understand that there is money to be made in doing so, but it has to be stopped before someone is seriously hurt. Just because someone becomes famous by entertaining us with their talent, does not give others the right to intrude on their personal lives. Just imagine that “Joe the paparazzi” is persuing a famous actor and during a vehicle chase this famous actor is seriously injured or even killed, “Joe the paparazzi” would have to then fear for his life because I’m sure fans of the famous actor that he just killed would be out for blood. Just saying.
TOO LATE LOADS OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HURT BY WHAT PAPARAZZI WRITE
I ******* HATE THE PAPARAZZI BECAUSE THEY SPEND THERE TIME FOLLOWING CELEBRITIES AROUND HOPING THEY FIND SOMETHING EMBARRISING TO PUT IN THE NEWS PAPERS BUT LET ME TELL YOU ONE THING BACK PAPARAZZI BECAUSE CELEBRITIES ARE NORMAL PEOPLE AND WE SHOULD JUST LET THEM DO THERE WORK WHETHER ITS RELEASING MUSIC OR WORKING ON T.V THEY SHOULD JUST LET THEM GET ON WITH IT I MEAN ITS OK TO GO UP AND ASK A PHOTOGRAPH WITH THEM IF YOUR A THROUGH FAN OTHER WISE **** OFF AND LET THEM DO THERE BUISNESS BECAUSE ITS NONE OF YOURS
I totally agree that celebrities are ill treated everyday.
one of my favorite female actress was so harrased i don’t known how she deals with the issue from day to day.
